We hire people who argue about words for a living

Small team, high standards, unusually long attention spans. If you have ever killed your own favourite name because it failed a dictation test, we should talk.

What the job actually involves

Naming is not brainstorming. It is generating far more than you need, then destroying most of it with evidence. The people who do well here are comfortable with that ratio and do not get precious about their own output.

The brokerage side is slower and quieter. It rewards patience, discretion and the ability to write a first email to a stranger that does not give anything away.

  • Remote-first. Seattle, New York and wherever you already are.

  • Small teams. Two to three people on a brief, never a committee.

  • Real ownership. You present your own work to the client.

  • Deal participation. The desk shares in what it closes.

  • Learning budget. Linguistics, IP law, whatever sharpens the work.
