Dotly.ai, the dotting platform

Our affiliate naming engine. It does the volume and the screening so our strategists can spend their judgement where judgement actually matters.

A screening engine, not an idea generator

Anyone can generate thousands of names. The hard part is elimination.

Dotly.ai generates from a structured brief and applies ~40 screens to every candidate. Most are filtered out; the strongest survivors go to a human strategist for final judgment. The platform makes the recommendation possible — it doesn't make it.

Names in a typical shortlist

What every candidate has to survive

  • Syllable count, stress pattern, consonant clusters and whether the name holds up when said quickly in a noisy room.

  • Modelled and then human-tested: can a stranger spell it correctly after hearing it once, in four English accents?

  • Meaning and near-meaning across twelve language groups, including the unfortunate homophone nobody thinks to check.

  • Class collisions and adjacent marks flagged early, so counsel is reviewing a clean shortlist rather than discovering a problem.

  • Live registration status across major and regional dots, plus aftermarket comparables so you know roughly what a chase would cost.

  • Matching social handles checked at the same time, because a name with no available handles is a name with a hole in it.

What the platform produces

A Dotly.ai output is not a word list. Each surviving candidate arrives as a small identity position: the name, why it survived, how it reads with each viable extension, its availability status, an honest valuation range if it is held, the handles that come with it, and the trademark note.

That is what makes a shortlist decidable. You are comparing positions, not guessing between words on a slide.

What you see for each name

  • The name and its reading. Pronunciation, stress, and what it suggests.

  • Extension fit. How it reads on .com, .ai, .io and regional dots.

  • Status. Available, held, or held and gettable.

  • Valuation range. From comparable transfers, if acquisition is needed.

  • Handles. What is free across the platforms that matter to you.

  • Trademark note. Classes, adjacent marks, and the risk in plain language.

Dotly.ai under your own name

Independent brand agencies can run invention and screening on the platform and present the results as their own work. GoDotly handles acquisition behind the scenes, anonymously, and never appears to your client unless you want us to.
